Welcome to the first post from FNS Weddings, Yorkshire wedding photographers.
Well what can we tell you about ourselves?
- We’re a couple in real life as well as at “work”.
- We’re very competitive – especially with each other and this results in some amazing photographs for you as each of us looks for the “picture of the day” (I have to say Andy usually wins!).
- We’re totally passionate about what we do and how we do it.
- We’re both very creative.
- We’re both perfectionists.
- We “see” things differently sometimes – this sometimes means two different takes of one photo for you.
- We select very carefully which wedding commissions we accept. This means you get the best from us and we get the best from you.
- We limit our availability – we’d rather shoot a few special weddings than number crunch.
- We love each other (say ahhhhh – bisto moment!) very much despite being together 24/7.
So we thought seeing as we usually aim to speak through our pictures we’d set ourselves a challenge of taking a photograph of ourselves which we thought sums us up perfectly. So….here it is……
So what does the picture tell you about us and the way we work? Well we like playing with light and look for “the light” to start with. We also like playing with shadows. Having us in the shadows is representative of how we work for most of your wedding day – we’re there somewhere but mostly in the shadows and you won’t notice us being around. We don’t like to be the centre of attention or on show. One of us is considerably shorter and fatter than the other but in the shadows it doesn’t show so much! Oh and did I mention we love each other?!
