Every good wedding has one thing in common – a great colour scheme! Everything from the colour of the makeup the bride chooses through to the flowers and the bridesmaid dresses is carefully planned. But where to start with the flowers?
Some brides choose to “play it safe” and choose neutral creams or whites – which will match perfectly with most colour schemes – and we have certainly noticed an increase in cream roses this year in the bouquets of weddings we have photographed. Some girls however choose to blend in a strong colour with their entire colour scheme.
The shape and style of your bouquet can quite often be influenced not only by current trends but also by your height, size and wedding dress style.
We thought we’d gather together a few ideas from recent weddings to give you something to go at when trying to decide what you might like for your flowers. Click on each individual image to view in detail some of the little extra finishing touches each bride chose to add to their flowers.

I’m going to coat-tail on what “Very Evolved” said… The way you connect to your audience is… Know who you are writing to. You need to pick a Target Audience and stick to them. You wouldn’t write to an audience of 14yr olds the same way you would write to an audience of 60yr olds.
