The lovely wedding of Lesley and Mark took place at the stunning Allerton Castle recently. It really was a “perfect day” with a warm welcome from Christchurch on the Stray at Harrogate, impeccable service from Philip with the very popular black and white 1952 Bentley Freestone & Webb car from Superior Motor Cars. One of my favourite pictures from the day was the look of pure delight on Lesley’s face, accompanied by Dine’s Sophie as she saw the beautiful ballroom at Allerton Castle fully dressed for her wedding breakfast. The cake was a wedding cheesecake – something we are seeing a little more often just lately.
The highlight of the day for me though had to be the simply stunning Fireworks display arranged by Ferrensby Fireworks. We photograph weddings all over the UK and abroad and see a lot of firework displays but those done by Ferrenbsy Fireworks – as you can see from the pictures below – take some beating! Where are those chair covers from? That is the most perfect orange I have ever seen. I was totally against chair covers until I saw these pics, the room looks amazing.

We walked in and the ballroom looked amazing. The bride was blown away by it too as you can see with the picture of her where Sophie is just peeping around the door. I think that the bride did these herself but not 100% certain so will check with her and update my reply here as soon as I know anymore. I’ve never seen this burnt orange/tangerine in there before and it worked incredibly well. She also had some Lime green organza in places to compliment it. Just stunning.
