A Call To Book Yorkshire Wedding Photographers Sharon & Andy
I bet you expected to see a photo of us here didn’t you? But what did you get? A snap shot from one of our recent ads. There’s a reason for this. Any “about us” post should really portray how we “see” things – this will give you a good idea how we might see your wedding. But, in keeping with the “”about us” page on our wedding photography website it’s hard to define in words how Andy in particular sees things as what he sees, what he takes and what he finishes up with after he’s edited your pictures are often 3 different things. That’s why we have a lot of photos in the portfolio section of our wedding photography website.
So – from the ad and website hopefully you will learn about us that we’re creative, artistic, ahead of the game (our ads are often copied by other photographers in different publications) and – yes I, at least – am camera shy!
We prefer to stay on the otherside of the camera and out of the limelight. That’s not to say that we never have our photos taken. Quite often after weddings one of the guests or the couple will email us photographs that they have taken during the day whilst we’ve been busy working (see – it’s not only us who can capture people unawares!). The shadows picture pretty much sums us up though.
What else can we tell you that might give you an insight into us a little though? We have a family and a dog. We rescued the dog and fell really lucky with him. He thought all his Christmases had come at once when we took him I think. We work too hard being total perfectionists and workaholics. We enjoy nice holidays if and when we get the opportunity to travel. We like to stay in nice hotels when we are away and be pampered because of how hard we work at home – a break needs to be a break because when we stop we drop! I like to ride horses and was brought up with my own horses. My ideal holiday is a ranch holiday. Andy likes fast cars – although he doesn’t yet own one of his own – favouring a 4 x 4 which gets us everywhere depsite the weather or road conditions. On his wish list of cars to own at the moment is a Range Rover sport or an Aston Martin DB9.
Claims to fame? We haven’t got any really but little know facts about us include Andy was one of the top UK florists and has designed and created flowers for Prince Charles amongst others. I once nearly crashed a helicopter over the Pitons in St. Lucia! Not surprisingly therefore is that one of my burning ambitions/desires is to learn to fly/pilot a helicopter!
Well – that’s probably just about it for telling you about us I think.
